Order processing

We pride ourselves on processing your orders as quickly as possible here at The Dance Diary. You can expect your order to be processed/ready for shipping within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends or Public Holidays). Shipping days are Mon-Wed and Saturday. During busy periods (such as Christmas or during sales promotions) processing can take up to 4 business days.

Please note, Britt and Maddie are both due to become families of 4 in October, so they appreciate your patience as they navigate new babies/toddlers whilst running the business. Thank you!

Domestic shipping

All diaries are shipped with Australia Post. Standard Domestic Delivery is $10 and takes between 2-8 business days. Please note, The Dance Diary orders are dispatched from Caringbah, NSW.

The Dance Diary provides tracking for all customers throughout Australia. This is provided via a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Please check your junk folders if you have not received your tracking.

The delivery time frames above are an indication. The Dance Diary will not be held accountable should there be extended delivery times or courier delays with Australia Post. Additionally, shipping delays will not be considered as means for refunds or cancellations of orders.

Please note, if you have purchased a bulk order (10 or more diaries), your shipping costs will exceed the prices noted above. The shipping costs associated with bulk order purchases are the responsibility of the customer.

international shipping

We do ship internationally, though only to our friends in New Zealand! The international shipping prices may vary depending on the location. Please note, the customer is responsible for all customs, taxes and fees associated with the International order. Standard International Shipping takes between 10-18 business days (depending on location/customs clearances).

refunds & returns

We are confident you will love The Dance Diary. However, should you require a return/refund of your purchase please read the following terms and conditions.

  • A refund/return will only be granted if a diary is damaged or faulty (a damaged box is not means for a refund, as Dance Diary pink boxes are merely for protecting the product; The Dance Diary)

  • Change of mind is not a reason for requesting a refund/return and will not be accepted by The Dance Diary.

  • The Dance Diary must be notified of your request for a refund/return within 14 days of purchasing the product (Please note, this means 14 days from when you paid for your product, not 14 days from when you received it).

  • Refund/return requests must be sent via our email (hello@thedancediary.com), not our Social Media platforms

  • If your request for a refund/return is approved, your item/s must be returned to The Dance Diary in their original packing

  • The Dance Diary team will contact you to arrange your replacement item if you had requested so in your communications

lost parcels

The Dance Diary cannot be held responsible for the delivery services provided via Australia Post. Any orders that cannot be located, are missing or undelivered as a result of incorrect information being entered by the customer, will not be replaced or refunded by The Dance Diary. If your information on your order was correct and your parcel has not arrived, please contact Australia Post, using the tracking information provided by The Dance Diary.
